I like that poster. Lots of good information. One of my favorite tricks - it's not really about weather - is to tell how long before the sun sets. It's a useful trick late in the day, when you wonder how much daylight you have left.
Hold your hand at arm's length, and squint one eye. Count how many finger-widths between the horizon and the sun. Each finger-width is 15 minutes. Four fingers means an hour till sunset. One finger means it's time to pack up the gardening tools.
