X-Ray Photography

Just look at these images. Aren't they amazing? These were all done by Nick Veasey. We talked about him in my physics class today (we're discussing the quantum effects of light). Check out his website for more work of his.

Only the light bulb showed up on my computer, but it's very cool. (Not sure what the swan logos are for at the bottom of your post?) But I went to his website, and I am in awe. I would like to show some of these to my writing students, with the idea that we need to write more than just what's on the surface.

How does he do big things like the bus or the office building?

All the pictures are life size, even the airplane hanger. It takes him months to finish a picture like that. He brings in parts of the plane to his little x-ray booth, then pieces all of the parts together, as far as I understand.

That is super cool. Like, for reals.
