I don't necessarily think it would help me at all to know that somebody had a hidden handgun. Unless, maybe, I was standing right next to a cop. Because, otherwise, I don't know that I would really be able to do much with that information. Except it would probably freak me out quite a bit to realize I was within shooting range.
