I have a pharmacology exam tomorrow, so tonight's post will be short. I will like to tell you two things:
1) Rifampin will make your urine turn red.
2) Nitrofurantoin will make your urine turn brown.
3) I am so ready for this semester to be over.

Is this "rifampin" safe for human consumption? And isn't there also stuff you can eat that will turn your pee blue?
Well, since it's used to treat tuberculosis, and is toxic to your liver, you probably shouldn't take it to get red pee. However, you can eat a lot of beets to get a red/pink pee color.
According to urinecolors.com, blue urine is possible.
Ummm, that last comment was from Bryan...
haha. I was going to say "wow! Katie's picked up on a lot of information!"
But then I read the other comment and laughed.
Hahaha I was really impressed by Katie's comment, too. I figured she helped you study or something.
Also, Nathan, methylene blue. They had it in the high school chemistry closets.

Guys, Bryan is such a liar. Of course I wrote those comments! Of course I know all about pee! Don't you dare stop being impressed by my vast knowledge.
Also, one of my favorite college roommates was kind of notorious for eating tons of beets just so she could pee pink. So, see? I know my stuff. Hence my really intelligent comments above.
