North Korea attacked South Korea today. It's the heaviest attack from North Korea since the cease fire of the Korean War in 1953. Who knows what will happen now. Earlier this morning North Korea fired a dozen artillery shells at an island in South Korea, killing two soldiers and injuring civilians. Will the US step in now? I'm not sure what kind of treaty obligation we have. If China steps in to defend North Korea, that might leave the US with no choice.

I saw it on the news, but I was trying to ignore it. You raise some good questions. We live in so much uncertainty, it seems.
Aw crap. Seriously.
