Primary kids...

Katie and I taught the 6 and 7 year-old primary class today. As always, the kids are super funny. We usually laugh at the funny things they say and do, but I think today we heard the funniest thing ever.

At the end of our lesson, the kids were coloring in a sheet that had pictures of different things referring to priesthood blessings, and the girls were talking about how long their hair was. I pointed out to the kids that Katie got a hair cut last week and how good it looked. They all admired it appropriately.

Then one girl said, "Brother Lewis, remember that time you tried to grow your hair out, but instead it just got all poofy?"

I kind of laughed and said, "Oh, did I tell you this story or something?"

Then she said, "No, I just noticed."

Wow. Kids can be brutal sometimes. Needless to say, I'll be getting a haircut every 6 weeks from now on.

Ha, ha. Remember the time when you were little and you asked me why I didn't comb my hair, and I just said it was curly and that's the way it was? ha,ha. I've always said curly hair doesn't grow down, it grows out!
