Day 0

I was told today to not come to work tomorrow. I'm not fired; the clinic is closing for a few weeks. The coronavirus has everyone in a self-quarantine, so I've got a few weeks at home. I figure it may be good to have some way to document how things are going, how I'm feeling, projects I'm working on, so that it hopefully won't feel like one day is bleeding into the next and I lose all track of time and self.

Maybe I'll grow a mustache.

Probably not.

But maybe.

There's a lot I can work on. Yard work is a biggie. I've been wanting to try out our new lawnmower. It's electric and pretty slick. Whitney, our next door neighbor, loves mowing lawns. She's mowed ours in the past, but I want to try it.

Also, painting. Maybe giving the kids piano lessons. Maybe our home will become super clean. I want to be super productive and not become a big slob. So maybe this blog will become a self-check. A protection against slothfulness.
